Yes, an FF for sure, but I can't bitch about any song that has either Pops or Mavis Staples on it.

What in gawd's name was that movie clip?

BOS for Lou's "Perfect Day". I bet this has never been played on KFrOG before.

It took me forty-five seconds to realize this was a song on the show and not a stream feed commercial.

This Lou Reed number is most welcome, though.

that was Pink Flamingos, I believe.

I think AL played "Perfect Day" at least once. Dunno about Mr Morey.

Love the Dan of Steel, but something other than "Do It Again" woulda been preferable.

Great dividers: The Dan.

I rather like the songs I've heard from this first album of theirs. Let me guess, there are many worthy songs on it that never see the light of airplay that are being bypassed for this second-ranked frequent flyer.

wow: "Taxi". An SF-centric fave and one that doesn't get much play these days. BOS2.

what's with the spoken part?? -- I swear I've never heard that before.

Taxi. There was a piece on KCBS yesterday about a competing, unlicensed rides-for-tips service in SF.

Angela Davis --> hmm. I was expecting Sweet Black Angel, which is about her. Maybe that would have been too obvious.

I'm not recognizing this thing about blackbirds. Steve Miller?

Speaking of blackbirds,  will Renee give us the traditional MLK set on Monday?

ETA: it is indeed Mr Miller, "Journey From Eden"  BOS3 -- a serious rarity, fo' sho'
