I'm elsewhere. But I'm guessing an early -'80s set, tho' '60s is possible.

I heard a commercial saying it was the year of the first man on the moon, so I'm guessing 1969.

Dylan's Lay Lady Lay, too. and Sly's Stand was the TOTHK.

Sorry, CES is still giving me fits, so I'm listening but not posting much.
Let's get right to it.

The odds of some really spectacular rarity seem slim these days; if it turns out RR actually pulls one out of her butt, I'll catch the replay.

1. Sly & the Family Stone - Stand!
2. The Doors - Touch Me
3. Blind Faith - Can't Find My Way Back Home
(Clip: play I Am the Walrus backwards.)
4. Beatles - Something
5. Creedence Clearwater Revival - Down on the Corner
6. Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter
7. Bob Dylan - Lay Lady Lay
8. Led Zeppelin - Heartbreaker/Living Loving Maid
9. CSN - Wooden Ships
(Clip: Apollo 11 moon landing)
10. Thunderclap Newman - Something in the Air (BOS!!)

technically 11 since she played both Zep tunes.  Nothing to hate there, certainly, but pretty standard-issue stuff. I still prefer JA's "Wooden ships" to CSN's.  Did Walgreen's bribe Renee to play "Down on the Corner"? :-)

I think it's the image of Grace eating Paul and Marty's, er, purple berries.

Indeed, when Sly and Dylan are the two deepest cuts of the set (imo) you have to figure they aren't digging too much.  (Referring to the hints that she gave about today's set, Renee mentioned this morning pre-set that she was feeling lazy last night. Really Renee? Just last night?)
Let's get right to it.

I saw this show:
Quote
11/-/74, Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, CA
Fleetwood Mac opened. Included Wooden Ships where Freiberg sang: "Won't you try some of these purple tablets? I've been eating them for 6 or 7 years now...", and Caroline with Freiberg on vocals.
So, I guess I never thought about it the way you did Mike!

I fell asleep during the replay and missed Wooden Ships!  Fortunately, since I was listening on Comcast, I was able to rewind the DVR, and listen.  Isn't technology wonderful?
