when this instrumental started, i thought it was otis redding's "can't turn me loose." but that would be all wrong for this year...

Hi y'all, back for a day.  Glad we're getting something like '69 now since it will be another classic later.

BOS #1 Stones, one of their best songs ever (imho).

it is a similar riff... conceived in the same studio, no?

Track 2, right after the eponymous title track.  You heard this at my house off of the vinyl.

Astonishingly no singles chart action from this album in the Hot 100.

ETA:  Useless trivia - David LaFlamme was the former violin soloist with the Utah Symphony and an original member of Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks.
