JCM LN4 "INALWWDMC", much as I like the song. At least it's not the Benatar version.

Jim, how does the streamtheworld player work? Is it better than the annoying official portal? I'm hoping I can just plug a URL into Winamp...

I tend to use iHeart since I'm usually listening to WDAS-AM thru them and it's an easy switch at 10:00.
I just tried iHeart. It's very convenient and fast. Do you know if it's the same bitrate as the regular player? It sounded worse to me when I first switched it on, but comparing back and forth, I'm not sure...

This may work then. Here's the URL:

http://player.streamtheworld.com/liveplayer.php?CALLSIGN=KFOGFMAAC

Pretty no frills, but no ads either. Click and the player launches, with its artificial LED equalizer and everything.
Let's get right to it.

I like the instrumental part. Kinda like the "Sweet Jane" intro. No doubt inspired by it.

Hey, that works pretty good. Thanks! I definitely like that better than the one with the ads.

Back firmly in LN territory, with John Cougar (no Boyscoutcamp at this point) and Supertramp following.  Both could be worse, but only a little. I guess we're paying the toll for the George and JJ songs.
Let's get right to it.

It's amazing what use in a movie can do for a song. I used to think this Supertramp song was run of the mill AOR fodder, but I've loved it ever since I first saw the Magnolia bar scene.

Can't remember where I got that one, but someone (TC? Giter Dunn on FB?) posted it when KFOG's old back-door player went away. It's pretty reliable--today is the first time I can recall having any buffering issues with it (yikes, almost typed "buggering issues" there.)
Let's get right to it.

actually, you were right the first time.  ;)

but seriously, it was a fine LP back then, just that nearly every track is tremendously overexposed.

I love early Steve Martin but am lukewarm on mature Steve Martin (I feel the same about REM).

I've never heard this before, but it's my favorite one that I've heard from Fear of Music.

Is Dennis C. in love?
