Thank god it wasn't another '80s year...

nice start with "Mr Big Stuff", followed by another "political" Chicago song for whoever commented on that last week.

But I'm puzzled by Dave's comment on the intro about a "presidential election" if we're in 1971? Was there that much activity on the 72 election a year before it happened?

ETA: Shoulda kept my mouth shut. One more song and all would have been revealed. Besides, Marsha thinks he's real groovy.

Me either, but I'm always struck by its resemblance to "Run Like Hell".  So I always call it "Walk Really Fast Like Heck".

I guess I liked it well enough as a kid. It wasn't, like, "appointment television"- but I was there for the coming of Cousin Oliver. (shudder)

Jan got hotter as time went on, though. So, 6 of one...

BOS3 Elton, even with the audible foot tapping in the left channel.

Hard to believe this got played on Top 40 radio. But it did.

I'd actually call it the best set we've heard since the new '69 set we got 10 days ago. But you're right -- Dave owes us a '68, whether we get a new one or a classic.
