Oy: my Aerosmith prediction comes true. "Sweet Emotion", one of the most-played classic rock tracks ever. LN7. 

Again, kudos on Kraftwerk & the Pointers, but the rest... really sounds like 10@10-by-committee. And a committee that wasn't necessarily born yet in the year being featured.

10am meeting, so I came in during the SNL skit.  So, of the three songs I was present for:

BOS, Pointer Sisters. 

And probably true if I had heard the whole thing.

As far as songs I never need to hear ever again go, it is much, much more true of "Sweet Emotion" than "Bohemian Rhapsody".  In fact, I don't mind hearing BR occasionally, but I've never understood the SE love.

SE wan't even a big hit at the time, either on Top 40 or AOR. All of a sudden in the last 10 years it became "beloved" by Classic Rock radio. I was in NY a few years ago and on their classic rocker Q-104 (which I only listened to for about 90 mins in the mornings) I heard it 5 or 6 times in 7 days.

predictions: if the pattern holds, we've got a late-'80s set and a '60s excursion in the next 2 days. Unless DC wants to push '00s back into the mix.

Agreed. Tuned in to the replay during Bohemian Rhapsody and don't feel like I missed a thing.

I would add that the segue from How Long into I'm Not In Love worked really well for me.  The latter may be LN in the ears of some of you, but I'm a sucker for it. (Although the Pointers would have gotten my BOS vote overall today.)
