Jerry Springer --> "Goody Two-Shoes": first clever segue of the RR era.

I'll give her/Icky credit for yesterday's Internet > Never There segue too.

So you're saying their skills are so settle that most of us miss em? I always wondered how many AL jokes nobody got.

I like this Motels song but it's the only one that AC radio ever plays.  I would have preferred "Take the L."

WOS Martha Motel. Ugh.

Eh, I don't get why you hate this song so much.  It's okay.  (not exactly a ringing endorsement)

I just never liked her voice. She sounds like she's trying to be a cocktail-lounge version of Chrissie Hynde.

Too soon for me to make that kind of statement about their production skills, but at least in this regard I think they're off to a good start.

Musically, otoh, this set is turning out to be early 80s Adult Contemporary hell.

Agreed on both counts. Probably the worst thing I could say about Morey (apart from his 1990's indifference) was that it often sounded like he was doing the show in some poorly ventilated garage.

BOS, Boy G.

Maybe one of these years we'll finally hear "Church Of The Poisoned Mind". Or even better, "War Song".

we've heard "Church" a number of times (from both DM and AL, iirc). "WarSong", never.

"War Song" would definitely earn a BOS from me for its cheese factor. I have it on a 9/11 compilation album.
