The "aughts"... or the "naughties" as a Capital Gold deejay (whose name escapes me) used to say.
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

I'm honestly interested to see who qualifies. I mean, yeah, we'll hear Train, and probably Chuck Prophet. Who else?

I was half-expecting a 1997 "15th anniv of the death of Princess Di" set.

Damn, it's really been that long (of course, we're four weeks away from the "15th anniv of TB working in SF" set, so I should have known).

My impulsive stab at a "Di Died" set:

Jewel - Foolish Games
Sarah McLachlan - Building A Mystery
Mr. President - Coco Jamboo
Blues Traveler - Most Precarious
Backstreet Boys - Quit Playing Games With My Heart
Sugar Ray - Fly
Fool's Garden - Lemon Tree
Forest For The Trees - Dream
Sheryl Crow - A Change Would Do You Good
Elton John - Candle In The Wind 97

"Barely Breathing" and "All Cried Ouit" would be appropriate  ;)

08/31/12 - Friday! Local Music - 2000 and beyond!

1. Green Day - Holiday
2. Jackie Greene - I'm So Gone
3. Third Eye Blind - Never Let You Go
4. Smashmouth - I'm a Believer
(harvey Milk: There's hope in San Francisco for the "Us's")
5. Chuck Prophet - White Night, Big City
(We've got to get back to solve the basic problems.)
6. Michael Franti and Spearhead - I Know I'm Not Alone
7. Imperial Teen - Room With a View
8. Luce - Good Day
9. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Ain't No Easy Way
(Secluded 1 bedroom apartment on Russian Hill)
10. Train - Get To Me

Can't say I'm sorry I missed, tho' methinks that Imperial Teen is a bustout. (I've requested "You're One" about a dozen times to no avail)
