AL's preview is Irene Cara's "What A Feeling"... has this actually ever appeared on 10@10? Regardless, I've requested it.

It's never been played by AL, tho' she's played movie clips and Sembello's "Maniac". Dave played it once as a Hit From Hell.

"In a FLASH
it takes hold
of my heart..."

Amazingly, it wasn't until I heard the song in NYC on 'CBS-FM this month (they play it 5 times a day, it seems) that I noticed that the word "flash" was in the lyrics.

Multiple requests for Zevon's "A Certain Girl", which is from ... 1980. And I still can't believe there are people who love Taco's "Puttin' on the Ritz". *SHUDDER*

Correct on both counts, but I will BOS it anyway because I still like it and nothing else is standing out for me.

Ministry when they were good. (or at least, when they were poppy and New wave-y)

I'll give a BOS to "This Must Be the Place". A nice tune, and not rare, but much less frequently played than a lot of Speaking in Tongues. Of course, if she played "Making Flippy Floppy", she'd really have something.

BOS2 Gap Band, "Outstanding" -- which IS.  (and a bustout, methinks)

ETA: nope, this is it's 2nd appearance in the AL era. A rarity is enuf for me today.

I'll second that. I'm not sure I've heard this one before.

BOS 1-2-3-4 Missing Persons-Ministry-Gap Band-The The

HM to Talking Heads. I like the song but I can't forget that shortly after the changeover they were playing it like it was a current.
