14 Aug 2012: it's... 1999
« on: August 14, 2012, 08:16:59 AM »
no clues. AL musta went to bed early.

ETA: WLNG has their studio-cam on -- USTREAM is the only way I can listen to them live -- so I'll catch up with AL tonite, if it's worth catching.

ETA2: it's apparently 1999 with the likes of Fatboy Slim and Ben Harper, so... glad I opted out.

This set certainly did not generate a lot of buzz. A lot of LNs (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8) - even though I enjoy most of those, particularly "Praise You".

Guster and Hole are bustouts, no? In any case, BOS Guster. I'm guessing I'll enjoy the set more than RGMike.

Hole, yes. But "Barrel of a Gun" made its SIXTH appearance today... as did "Take a Picture" and "Praise You". Four for Sixpence "Kiss Me".

Oy.

Five previous appearances for "Barrel"??? Where have I been? Or maybe I've got it confused with "Fa Fa".

Listening to the replay. BOS Flaming Lips. I don't think this album has appeared on 10@10 before.

WOS everything else.
