VHM Beck. What song is this sampling? It's on the tip of me tongue.
Ohhhh, it IS a sample, isn't it? I was thinking it sounded so much like Van Morrison's "It's All Over Now Baby Blue". Guess there's a reason.

No need for "Bittersweet Symphony". Played out.

I was thinking Moodies, perhaps, but you could be right.  "something... something.. out of my window... something..."

WOS Jackson Browne at his most lugubrious.... even if the segue from Contact was pretty right-on.

What are the odds we'll hear at least one of the following:

Semi-Charmed Life
Your Woman
How Bizarre
Tubthumping

By the way, the 2000's have been unrepresented since a 2002 set on April 30.

It appears none of these were played. Yeah, we could use a different Blur song, and Space is only SN, but this is far from the worst 97 set I've witnessed.

certainly not overloaded with LNs, but rather low on energy IMHO. The only think-out-of-the-box selection was The Spice Girls, and even that one wasn't a bustout.
