Fourteen joys and a will to be married....

It's "merry", no?

I have never seen What's Up Doc, amazingly.

LN2: Todd.

Funny rock clip from "What's Up, Doc" (I presume) with Babs.

I'm sure Todd isn't really necessary, but such a great-sounding song.

BOS4 the orig "Sentimental Lady" -- superior to Welch's late-'70s remake, IMHO.

Word. At the time the Welch solo version was interesting as a counterpoint to this one, but I think the original has held up better.

VHM Todd. Can't quite give it an LN 'cause it's such a great song, but someone without my biases could certainly make a case.
Let's get right to it.

Ah, you may be right. Mondegreened again.

You should see it. Definitely of its time, but a fun movie. I remember having a bit of an adolescent crush on Babs after seeing this. Got over it.

Not to be morbid, but there are a few corpses appearing in today's set. Jerry, Marc B., Bob Welch, and both Alex Chilton and Chris Bell of Big Star.

Another BOS for Big Star and a VVHM to the Honky Cat.
Let's get right to it.

I must be in a holiday mood!

We're back to the "a couple o' LNs, a couple o' rarities" formula. (unless it's a '90s set, then it's all-LNs-all-the-time)

Would love to see some outtakes from Sanford and Son. I can imagine the unedited Redd Foxx being pretty, um, ribald.

I sat in the Exploratorium parking lot until I had to go in, just at the end of Hot Tuna.  I missed some pretty good stuff!  #6,7,8 also pretty hot numbers for this good old fart.  Have to try and catch the replay.
Don't stand in the way of LOVE!
