« on: April 25, 2012, 07:59:54 AM »
Can we assume AL was at HP Pavilion last nite?

ETA: no banter betw Webster & AL -- is a "classic" in store?

eeek: the uber-trina of uber-trinas. LN-in-excelsis, "Wishing Well".  Still say it sounds like he's saying "you're fucking now boys"

unexpected BOS: Bangles, "In Your Room" -- a rarity and anything's better than "Eternal Flame".

LN2: INXS. not one-a MY kind.

With "In Your Room", can we safely conclude this is a new show?

I guess so -- is it a bustout? if so, kudos.

I don't remember hearing so many Roger Rabbit clips before, either. One of my fave movies of all time.

Pretty good newish ride at Disneyland too. Of course, when I say "newish", I mean in the last 20 years. I don't get down there much...

uber-BOS3 Tracy Chapman's finest hour. Why this was not a hit baffles me. Someday someone will cover it for a movie sndtk and it will get its due.

Pretty good less-played song from Tracy "I'm not trying to be Joan Armatrading, I'm not I'm not!" Chapman.

hahahaha! That was certainly the rap on her at the time. (well, that and, "why doesn't she come out of the closet already?")

BOS4 Brian Wilson -- NICE!

pretty nice.. at times, it's slightly reminiscent of the Oscar-winning song Falling Slowly from the movie Once.  Of course Tracy's song was done years before.
