20 April 2012: it's... 1985

No Earth Day and no "420". Here's hoping we maintain the high quality of the rest of this week by busting out some, er, bustouts.

Streaming audio access has returned. No more KFOG-via-Walkman. So this set BETTER be good.

Leadoff song: "Nightshift". It's nice, but it's not exactly waking me up.

yeah, not what I'd call a TOTHK. But BOS1 anyway; one of the classiest, least-treacly tribute-to-dead-people hits ever.

More appropriate for the wrapup.

And it played out longer than normal. There were so ad lib lines I couldn't sing along to towards the end. :)

I missed the intro except for the last bit. What did AL say about "adding Mike to the list"? Did somebody else die? I'm waiting for the third person to die in as many days, as they often do...

Hahaha, things about Pee Wee Herman you shouldn't understand.

the Pee-Wee clips need to be retired for a while.

But OMFG: uber-BOS2 Kirsty MacColl covering Billy Bragg!  I'm on FY-uh with getting requests played lately.

no, it's a tribute to a longtime Foghead. And we've had FOUR people die this week: Clark, Frid, Helm, and the Men At Work dude.

Big BOS for Kirsty MacColl song I've never heard before (speaking of dead singers...).

Who's Frid? I guess the Men At Work dude didn't register for me. If it had been Colin James Hay, I probably would have noticed.
