BOS Erasure covering ABBA -- almost makes up for not hearing the Swedes' "Money Money Money" yesterday. But the Jamaican woman rapper meme was already tired by '92.

Supposedly she said:

Coming in!
If you like what you’re seeing take a chance with me
You won’t be grabbed if you’re feeling horny...

in the '80s there was a Jamaican woman named Ranking Ann, who did some stuff with Scritti Politti. A friend of mine had a joke about Ranking Ann being confused with Ann Reinking.  It was hilarious at the time.

Enya? Caribbean Blue was a total remake of Orinoco Flow. Would have preferred something else off this album.

BOS to Little Village.
I've heard less underwhelming Erasure songs.  Like, the rest of their catalogue.

Yes, any other song from that album would have been better. But, alas, perhaps they were not hits.

not afraid to give a little love to Enya.  Yeah, it all sounds the same, but at least it sounds like Enya!

dig the whisk broom percussion on this Neil Young song.  My stream on the iPhone is pretty crappy.

Oh, thanks. I saw it, but don't remember anything about it. I guess the blind part Reg mentioned, but little else.

I liked it.  But there is always a fine line for Pacino performances.  See Scarface.
