only in SF would someone like Ed Lee be considered right wing!  I don't really know who to vote for.  A friend wonders if any of the candidates were behind that failed circumcision ballot measure.  Anyone know?

Well, he's certainly not a progressive, and apparently he has links to Rev Eugene Lumpkin (not to mention Rose Pak), and just the whole he-promised-not-to-run-and-then-conveniently-changed-his-mind thing is reason enuf for me not to vote for him.

Illinois Congressman Joe Walsh (no, not that one), who's known for not keeping up his child support payments among other things, goes off the rails at a meeting with his constituents in the Chicago area over the weekend.
