I rarely get to listen to Little Steven, but I heard that driving back from Beejmas.  I was completely floored.  They said something like "despite the wishes of 200,000,000 Americans" in the quote, and back then the population was ~250M, so that would have been over 80% (if accurate).

I had given up listening to his show on The Bone, because they were continually screwing it up (deleting segments, playing the same show 2 weeks in a row, etc) but his newly reconfigured website has a "listen to this week's show" link right up front

Why America is royally fucked, Part CCCXLVIII:  A FB-friend posted, without comment, the news that Donald Trump says he will decide by June whether to run for Prez in 2012. In short order 2 of my friend's FB-friends (I don't know either one) responded:

Vito C. Honestly, I think he may have my vote...... Will have to hear his agenda first.

Montrue S. I love the Trumper. Remember when he fixed Wallman Skating Rink in NYC? He has a big mouth, and the brains to back it up. I would vote for him. Maybe what we need is a good business man in the White House!

Gawd help us all. I rebutted with "Good Lord, people! His 'agenda'? His agenda is to make billionaires like himself even richer. Wake Up, America." But I'm sure that will fall on deaf ears.  Sheesh and Yeesh.

ETA: "Vito C" replied with a long rant that included name calling. Some nice folks on Facebook!

ETA2: I told "Vito" I didn't get into shouting matches on FB and he said something about punching me in the jaw. The original FB-friend whose thread it was then deleted "Vito".

I weep for America.
