2 March 2012: it's 1972
« on: March 01, 2012, 03:12:08 PM »
Whatever it is I'll be elsewhere. But '71 seems to be the year we haven't done in quite a while, and since we got both '69 and '78 last week it would certainly fit nicely.

Close, so very close. I don't think you'll turn it down, though.

Great year, and nice start...  Dickie Betts and the Allman Brothers at their best IMO.
Now I'm eight bits...

BOS, ABB, of course.

The Stones tune was a semi-rarity, but I was involved with something and was only able to pay attention with a small percentage of available brainpower (which diminishes daily as it is).

Me too.  Years ago I bought 'Highway Call', solo by Richard (Dickie) Betts.
Great album, with his distinctive guitar/vocal style, like on 'Brothers & Sisters' -- though a bit more country...
Now I'm eight bits...
