Barenaked Ladies fall into the camp of "liked them when it was fresh, but it sure hasn't aged well".

yes, esp that song.

Lyle Lovett sounds Loverly compared to the BNLs today.

WOS Lyle Lovett; nothing personal, I just don't like this kind of music.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

Rush, on the other hand, holds up quite well, except for perhaps "Roll The Bones" (but which would fit this set well).

Coming soon: An FB post on ten big hits from the late 80's/early 90's that are all-but ignored by radio today.

if we get a Bodyguard clip but not an actual Whitney song it would be cheating.

VHM Annie L. This hasn't been bad, exactly, just very pedestrian.

I agree w that.  But the Fixx were popular when I was glued to the radio.  By the time Toad was hopping around, I moved away from listening as much. And Toad is way mellower than the Fixx, who had a real edge.

I saw them open for the Police in 83
