Bob does his year-of-release rather than year-of-popularity thing with Orleans.  This always annoys me, even tho' I like the song.

Mick flirts with necrophilia; Walsh does it all nite and AC/DC shoot to thrill.

Seger spends too much time with the Iggles at Fire Lake, eating cake. For goodness sake!

sheesh: the closest we get to "new wave" --- in a year flooded with the stuff -- is Split Enz. VHM, but really, Bob: too little too late.
