Indeed -- no idea. And I listened to KFOG, Live 105 and Alice in '98.
I'm equally baffled by the movie clips.  Sounded a little like Matthew Broderick, but not even slightly familiar.

It got a lot of airplay in D.C. at the time. I think they were local boys.

Actually, I'm not sure I have a preference today (where admittedly I was very involved in support issues during the set, and wasn't paying close attention).  I would probably BOS The Alka Seltzer Band, but not emphatically.
