Agree. Playing an artist's most recognizable radio song to be "accessible" is a recent 10@10 trait that really reared its ugly head this week. I thought the entire week of sets sucked, with the exception of the Movie Monday classic. Hopefully it was just individual song choices that didn't connect with me rather than a final descent into pre-programmed mediocrity.
I also thought of a KFOG-related analogy this week that seems fitting to me, but others might find too caustic. Anyway: KFOG = Democratic Party. Both are corporate and unadventurous but seem to regard themselves as righteous, free-thinking and, yes, progressive.
