And my story is that our power's out--has been since yesterday early AM, and the power co. won't give us an estimate of when it'll be back as only 6 customers are affected. Grrr. So we've packed up the dog and the cats and some of the food in the freezer and headed to my uncle's house, 10 miles away. Thankfully he has power (and broadband!) so I will probably be online periodically but not listening to anything via the web. And working a few hours today and tomorrow. Hoping we can be back in our place by Xmas, but the snow is an issue too--we've got about 2.5 feet on the ground with more coming, so getting up the driveway is a challenge (we do have 4WD, w/ chains). So "White Christmas" isn't a dream, it's a virtual certainty!
So, now that I'm done kvetching, just want to say I hope you all are safe and warm for Xmas, and thank you all for putting up with my OCD tendencies for another year!
(And yes, for those that asked for them, the 10@10 CDs will get done, as soon as Portland General Electric says it's OK.
