and now we boogaloo-in' down Broadway, y'alls! Right past the Paramount!

Lawd! the late great Howard Tate with "Lookit Granny Run Run" -- a song that presaged Viagra 30 years ahead of schedule.

2NG plays a cover of Bowie's "Oh You Pretty Things" by... Peter Noone!  Gotta make way for my homo posterior!

The Boardwalk plays Amy Winehouse's "Love is a Losing Game"  -- the one that made me turn the corner on her. Fabulous song.

SomaFM's "Underground '80s": Nina Hagen doing Lene Lovich's "Lucky Number" -- in German! Followed by Ms Lovich herself with "New Toy" (oh-ay-oh!)

2NG's retro chart is from Dec 1980 -- the Barron Knights doing a Xmas parody of Floyd's "The Wall" Hey! Santa! leave the booze alone! LOL!

But Showaddywaddy just did the worst cover of "Blue Moon" evah.

OMFG: Kate Bush, "December Will Be Magic Again"

The Bone just played Rush's Ghost Of A Chance, a single from their 1991 Roll The Bones LP.

I have to say it's NTM as I'm not familiar w post Moving Pictures Rush.  A pleasant surprise.   It has a 'smooth jazz' feel, and Geddy Lee's voice is reined to a super low alto range.  :)   ... in other words, your dog should still be asleep.
