He even has a clip of Alex Trbek doing the CBC News from 1965, when he would have been 25 yrs old.

Mshray & Alicat, can you guys give backup doing the archival thing? (winkwink) My whole recording setup (and in fact, the entire den) is deconstructed while we have some work done. I'll try to piece together something to get it done, but no guarantees.
Let's get right to it.

Noticed yesterday that the years in this week's sets had been separated in 10-year increments (Mon 81, Tue 91, Wed 75, Thur 85) but figured there was little or no chance of getting 65 today. When will I learn to pay more attention to stuff like this?

I taped the '85 set last night & will certainly tape this one.  But my system is very MOR if any of you are true audiophiles.

The Knickebockers (sp?)

can't think of a cover.  Some people thought it was secretly the Beatles at the time.  Kind of sounds like the Knack.

Not a bad idea Geoff, but did anyone ever cover Lies?

The Knickerbockers, best Beatles(yay)-alike hit ever!

another cover that's been covered.  Not sure who else by, except the original Muddy Waters at Last Waltz (If I'm not hallucinating)

Did Chicago do this?
