« on: December 12, 2011, 07:35:11 AM »
Mon 12/12/11: 1968

Stones show "Sympathy"; Sly is good "People"; Traffic feel alright; Kermit goes up the country and the Beatles go to Russia.

The Peak's player says "Summertime" is by 'Big Brother and the Ho'  -- that's not a very nice thing to say about Janis!

eeek: Steppenwolf.

BOS Nazz -- Having trouble opening *my* eyes this Monday morn.

BOS2 Neil, the loner.

Rob in the '90s is no diff than AL in the '90s. Weezer, Petty, Sideshow Bob, Green Day, Stone Roses, Aerosmith, Peal Jam.

VHM REM and "that song about Alex Bennett's sex life", "Bang & Blame"  Proxy of sg: Liz Phair, "Supernova".

Alex Bennett's sex life?  "Everybody Kvetches"?

Oh, and never been a big Liz Phair fan.  Exile in Guyville is one of the most overrated indie records, in my book.  Especially, since it was supposed to be some sort of rebuttal for Exile on Main St..  Not even close, honey.

Missing Peeps walk in LA; Petty gets lucky; Duran2 get hungry.
