I like Filter. I wouldn't have guessed this was as recent as 1999.

I bailed as soon as Webster announced that in today's 10@10 "we're gonna party like it's...".  I'm listening to Pandora, which is pretty shaky these days -- they "ehnanced" the ui, but didn't take into account what all those bells and whistles would do to the stream.

I'm guessing this is the set being played:

8/26/11- Friday! Party Like It's...1999!

 1.  Smash Mouth- All-Star
 2.  Old 97's- Murder or a Heart Attack
(News: Senate impeachment hearings/Pres Clinton)
 3.  Filter- Take a Picture
(TV: Becker)
  4.  Foo Fighters- Learn To Fly
(TV: Daily Show- Falwell vs. Teletubbies)
  5.  Euphoria- Delirium
  6.  Eagle Eye Cherry- Save Tonight
(News: Y2K/Loudon Wainwright III-Y2K/ Ad: Macintosh-Y2K)
  7.  Ben Harper- Steal My Kisses
(Movie: Office Space)
  8.  Len- Steal My Sunshine
  9.  Sixpence None The Richer- Kiss Me
(TV: Who Wants to Be a Millionare-final answer-August!)
10.  Fatboy Slim- Praise You (B.O.S!)
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

I like Steal My Sunshine, and thanks to Wikipedia, I now know what that sample is. It's been bugging me for years. It's "More More More" by the Andrea True Connection. I shoulda known. And thanks for posting the song list, cause I hate "Praise Me" so I know when to bail :-).

sounded fine by me.  But it helps when you are only half-listening b/c of general busy-ness.

I liked 2,3,8,9,10
half like 1,4
can't remember 5 -- although I recall that it's new-agey in the way that "Sadeness Part 2" is -- or 6.

Murder or a Heart Attack is a song all cats are wary of.

This repeat looks like a perfect set to bust out the Radical ratings!  ;D

Good

A
Len
Foo Fighters
Smash Mouth (Despite this being the beginning of their foray into "no-longer-cool-to-like" territory, this is perfectly good pop...the only problem was they were equally capable of making perfectly awful pop)
Euphoria
Eagle-Eye Cherry

B
Old 97s

C
Fatboy Slim
Ben Harper

D
Filter

F
Sixpence None the Richer

Necessary

A
Len
Euphoria

B
Sixpence None the Richer (Grudgingly, I have to concede that this was the sledgehammer it was & isn't out of place in 1999)
Eagle-Eye Cherry (Still kind of overplayed, but good, and innocuous enough to take awhile to realize that)
Smash Mouth
Fatboy Slim
Old 97s

C
Filter (I guess...but I wish she would get ahold of the H&H Radio Edit)

D
Foo Fighters
Ben Harper
