I still say "Love is Like an Itching in my heart" should've been licensed for a Vagisil commercial. VHM Diana & the Supes.

This bluesy one is completely NTM. Is it really the Stormsville Shakers (who I've never heard of)? And who did that lead-in?

if you mean the "pirate radio" clip it was Patrick McGoohan from Secret Agent.

Per FB, the song was early Jeff Beck. Geoff can confirm, I'm assuming.

BOS4 Mitch Ryder.

Please let's not have a "Best Of 103.7" set. (Although to be frank, her recent 60's sets have been quite good).

Yay for the 60s!  I'll be working in the classroom tomorrow, so I'll miss it.  Damn, why did today have to be Kyrie day?

Worry not, SG, you weren't the only one to miss it. Turns out 10am was zero hour for the departure of the single-wide we've been trying to get rid of for the last two years. So I had to go ride herd on that project. But it's gone, so all good.

Was really hoping AL would make good on her thought of using my suggestion of Double Shot (of My Baby's Love) as the TOTHK, but it was not to be. I think she's played it before though, so c'est la vie. Was also hoping for the OTHER Standells tune that she ref'd last night (Sometimes Good Guys Don't Wear White)--again, not to be. Will have to set my clock for 9:58 tonight to catch the rewind.
Let's get right to it.

I was only able to think it was some sort of British guitar god; could've been Clapton.  Upon further research, it looks like the specific track, "The Nazz is Blue," was not on the original US release.  I've heard it now and then, but not with any sense of ID.

yup! I think it shows more than they intend. It tips the hand of what they're going to play to bring us back down to earth.

 8. The Yardbirds - The Nazz Are Blue

so, were the Yardbirds singing about Todd's band? or did Nazz get their name from the song?
