« on: October 31, 2011, 08:44:01 AM »
Mon 10/31/11: Halloween!

Warren Zevon -Werewolves Of London
Sheb Wooley -Purple People Eater
Rocky Horror Picture Show -Time Warp
Rockwell -Somebody's Watching me
Bow Wow Wow -I Want Candy
Ray Parker Jr -Ghostbusters
Oingo Boingo -Dead Man's Party
Bobby Boris Picket -Monster Mash
Michael Jackson -Thriller

not bad, considering their format limits -- would not have expected Sheb Wooley.
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

Tues 11/1/11: 1983

Sammy Hagar -Your Love Is Driving Me Crazy
Kajagoogoo -Too Shy
Stray Cats -Stray Cat Strut
Moving Pictures -What About Me ?
Madness -Our House
Dionne Warwick -Heartbreaker
Men At Work -Overkill
Peter Gabriel -Shock The Monkey
Kenny Rogers/Dolly Parton -Islands In The Stream

Talk about a mixed bag.  BOSes to Islands in the Stream and Heartbreaker.  The Moving Pictures song is NTM, I think.

Too Shy is one of the first Mp3s I ever got.  I play that one all the time!!  If it's possible to wear out a digital copy song, I just might.  Great bass line.  I heard Duran Duran's  John Taylor (cue the swooning) taught the Kajagoogoo bass player how to slaaay-up da daaayuss, mon* for that one.

Overkill is a great song.

* I think you'll all agree the set could've used some Rush, though.

Funny that they played 2 Gibb Bros compos in the same set.  And the Moving Pictures song is one of those singles that charted twice ('83 and again '89)
