Green Day.  Someone shoot me in the face.

Dolly the sheep: another turning point? That was a stretch, AL.
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

It gets my BOS, even though I suspect Malkmus' voice will inspire a Waits-like reaction from some of the Fogheads.
Let's get right to it.

they were too busy complaining about Dylan  ;)

But yeah, I find Pavement-guy's voice a tad annoying.

yes, a few comparisons b/w Dylan's and Waits' vocal stylings cropped up.

this song is how I discovered Stephen Malkmus:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AkopIQEeTU

Note to self to minus one "Semi-Charmed Life" the next time '97 rolls around. That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore.

we're happy for you, sg.

and gotta say that even when the music doesn't please me, AL finds her some clever segs.

"king of the world!" --> Semi-Charmed Life

"Female of the Species" --> Dolly the sheep.
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

Doesn't look half bad.  I'm thrilled that 8/10 my predictions didn't come true.  Looks like we got about seven bustouts (Jamiroquai, Bob Dylan, Natalie Imbruglia, Pearl Jam, Pavement and yes...even Green Day and INXS).  A few uWB's, but I guess uWB's > uWK's.  She's def. been including more pop in these sets lately.
