I suspect it will be quite a dull affair, but I asked for Blondie, Cher, and Britney Spears nonetheless.

all have appeared at least twice, and we've only visited 1999 five times.

Kill me first if we hear "Smooth".  

I'd prefer to hear "Tender" over "Coffee & TV" anyday.  I saw Blur perform this with the Harlem Boys & Girls Choir at the Roseland in NYC the same year  Moving stuff.

This song combines several annoying things:
- vocal histrionics akin to what you hear all over American Idol, Christina Aguilera, etc.;
- Gypsy-tinged guitar work (I can't tell you how I grew to hate the Gypsy Kings, and I blame one errant evening spent at the Steps Of Rome cafe in North Beach.  What an annoying place.)
- self-reflexive vocals (Carlos' name is dropped by this rapper)....

...but maybe ALL that's topped by the rapper introducing Jack Johnson.

Actually, I've grown less hostile to Jack Johnson.  I guess it comes with getting older .... and sleepier?
