OK so it's '96, per the FB posters.  Another '96 set without solicited suggestions doesn't appeal to me so i'll stay on The Boardwalk.  If any of my past requests turn up (fat chance!), I'll catch 'em tonite

"If It Makes You Happy" - the only decent Sheryl Crow song, IMO.  Could be because it reminds me of "Tumbling Dice" on morphine.

"Mother, Mother", I'm PMSing and I wrote a song about it!  Nice guitars, but overall, yiiiikes.

BOS Everclear's "Santa Monica".  I love songs about California!

Probably one of her better 1996 sets.  BOS's to Johnny Cash, Nada Surf, Sting.  VHM Tracy Bonham.  90's 10 @ 10's are turning into a collection of Cake's greatest hits but "The Distance" was a good TOTHC.  But, "Counting Blue Cars," while not a bad song, was unnecessary, especially the acoustic version (I would have been tickled pink if she had played "Charlie Brown's Parents" instead.)  Also, Chris Isaak seems to get stuffed into the mix every chance she gets.  It would do 10 @ 10 good to go Chris Isaak-less for a few weeks, in my opinion.

Indeed, even if we're not getting a daily rarity/bustout fest anymore (although I'm not sure too many of AL's orevious 90s sets could have been considered that), a couple of 'em sprinkled in with a good flow and proper segues & clips, can make for a very listenable set, as long as there's nothing overly banal.
