Nice start with Van's "Crazy Love."  I'm still convinced he drew those hushed intonations in his delivery from Dusty in Memphis, and as such I wish Dusty had recorded the song herself.

It was a single in the early '70s, not a big hit and I keep looking for it (it's not on the HR GH I have).

Not WOS exactly but least interesting of set: Cocker. Of all the Woodstock cuts we could've gotten (I want some Morning Maniac Music -- it's a New Dawn!) this is the least worthy.

Wow! I liked the Buddy Miles. And here are those 73 men who sailed up from the San Francisco Bay. Were these guys Dutch Gaz?

I disagree on the Joe Cocker, just because of the rampaging guitars at the end.

VVHM to "Ride Captain Ride," one of those songs I used to hear All The Time on Pittsburgh oldies radio but never hear in NYC (and didn't hear in SF, now that I think about it).
