BOS3 Jet -- hard to believe this is 8 years ago. The first "Coolest Song in the World" I heard when Little Steven premiered on The Bone that year.

Ya know, I was just thinking that this would be a likely candidate. I wonder if Audioslave will appear.

I really hope we don't get "When I Look To The Sky".

BareNakedLadies -- guess this is no surprise either, tho' I don't remember it being a KFOG staple in '03.

I can't tell which band is whiter...BNL or They Might Be Giants.  In any case, ugh.

made-up fact:  he and Cher went to the same vocal coach.

this next one seems NTM -- has some jangly pop elements, not too bad.

BNLs are whiter by virtue of also being Canadian. Even Robin Shabotsky thinks they're lame!

The Jayhawks. One of my favorite bands of the aughts.

Jayhawks, during their non-Mark Olson period. (He's back as of last year.)

TMBG embraces their dorkiness with gusto, which makes them waay cooler.  They're also from Brooklyn.
