I'm assuming "Holiday In Cambodia" has not been played.

seriously, Dire Straits is a band I NEVER need to hear again.  bye bye.
Excellent guitar work.

I can understand that Brothers in Arms did that to some people -- it was everywhere for what seemed like years. But Making Movies was one I nearly wore out in 1980. (and thus "Skateaway" is an Alison.)

I think it is Mark's voice.  I like the guitar, but his voice grates on me.... like nails on a chalkboard but even that sounds better to me than his voice.

An Alison?

A song not named after the LP that nonetheless contains the LP's title in its lyrics. Named for Elvis C's "Alison" which includes the line "my aim is true".

Ahhhhhh.  Very nice. I tried to find the 10at10 lexicon, but I don't remember where it is, and couldn't find it on the boards here...

BOS3 and TANC Stevie (see the "List Thread" under Stream of Consciousness), even if he's copping a riff from Elvis C and JJ.

Now, THAT would be a 10@10 that would throw FBers into a shitstorm. “You Learn” from Alanis Morissette.

You've not missed the SOS band.  Dire Straits, Pretenders, Joy Division, Devo, Gary Neuman, Stevie W., Cars, Split Enz, XTC....
