The Peak week of 8/29/11
« on: August 29, 2011, 07:34:52 AM »
Mon 8/29/11: 1969

OMFG: the Clique's orig "Superman", later covered by REM.  uber-BOS.   Bob also played "White Bird", "Green River", Blind Faith, Moodies, CSN and Iggy, who wants to be yo' dogg.

OMFG2:  The Monk bought lunch! Last time Rob did '69, I suggested he play "Soft Parade" one of these days... and here it is!!  uber-BOS2 and Bustout of the Month.  "when all else fails we can whip the horses' eyes..."

Well worth catching on the PM replay.

Hey, ho for The Ramones!  Interesting choice...I wonder if any radio stations would touch "The KKK Took My Baby Away" these days.
