today's the 25th anniv of the release of "Graceland", apparently. You can call her AL!

(and yes these late-'80s years are coming up every 3 weeks like clockwork)

A good song, but the biggest hit from the album. Could easily have picked a deeper cut.

About 20 years ago a good friend was on a flight from NY to Dallas sitting next to Ben E. King, had a nice talk. "Stand By Me"/"Sit By Me"

It was written by Ben E King, Jerry Leiber (who died this week) & Mike Stoller and was a hit again in '86.
