Is "Midnight Rider" tune #1?  I just realized the electric piano solo here was heavily cribbed for same on the Jefferson Starship's "Love Too Good."  Hrm.

Indeed this is song 1 -- tho' they played "We're an American Band" immediately preceding the set.

WOS to "Roll Over Beethoven."  Never cared for this one.

WOS L&M, a shameless attempt to clone "Your Mama Don't Dance". Points deducted for gratuitous Timothy B Schmidt reference.

VHM 3DN, tho' I'd prefer to hear the BW Stevenson version more frequently.  Mr S musta been smoking something quite powerful on the road to Shambala.

Grr!  I had to tune out Stevie after getting yet another phone call from a publicist I'd been dodging.  One of the problems with using a cell phone exclusively for business is that callers can tell when I'm unavailable and when I'm just not picking up.

"Frankenstein" is still such a difficult listen for me.  Most unexpected #1 ever, I would argue.

Left out in our building's give-n-take table yesterday: a stack of cassettes, including a home recording of Nixon's resignation speech.  Which I of course grabbed.  What a curious document to have.

OOH!  BOS to "Half-Breed"!  Kick it, squaw-child!

OMGWFTLOL! "Half Breed".  The Drive's willingness to play Cher will always endear them to me (and you too, Gaz, I'm sure).
