BOS to Thomas Dolby, "I Love You Goodbye."  Everyone who thinks he's a novelty artist should listen to this on repeat for an afternoon.

ah, Mr Dolby, "I Love You Goodbye", the presumed BOS winner -- it almost always does.

You have to admit, it's sublime in almost every respect.
Don't stand in the way of LOVE!

Hey Y'all, send me all your positive vibes this afternoon from 2:30 to 3:30.  I have a 3rd interview, and I really want to get this job.  Could be a huge jump in salary.

Most certainly will. 3rd interview?--sounds like you made the final two. Go knock 'em dead.

Won't jinx it by asking too much, but if you get it, ya gotta give us all the deets.
Let's get right to it.

VHM Thomas Dolby

Does anyone besides me remember the extremely short-lived ad campaign:

"Freedom's just another word for Datsun!"

replaced by "Nissan is a better word for Datsun"

This has been a year of major workplace transitions for about half the Clubhouse (Davefish, Alicat, POC, Geoff, me), so I should think you're due for something progressive to happen.  I hope the new job will let you retain your flexibility of schedule and travel.

BOS, the Talking Heads "Lifetime Piling Up".  Their last song, released on the Sand In The Vaseline 2-disc compilation.

Must have been some bad blood.  I met Tina and Jerry during my guitar biz days, and both seemed real nice.  Perhaps David is a bit hard to work with?

I'm afraid I've rapidly lost interest in this set.  Dave once again forgets that black people were making music in the '90s.

Though I've read a lot of Heinlein, but not nearly all of it.  His style can become a bit oppressive.  Of the books LL appeared in, I think I read Time Enough For Love and The Cat Who Walks Through Walls, but that was long ago -- those brain cells may not exist anymore.

"Bad blood" is an understatement.  Tina, who apparently is a deep-end case, has said amazingly awful things about David in interviews in recent years.
