Just watched one of the replays of last nite's Colbert Report -- catch it tonite at 8:30 if you can. The middle section is an utterly hilarious bit involving Elton John's new Ben&Jerry's flavor ("Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road" -- LOL) and a London ad campaign to lure gay Brit tourists to the US.  Brilliant stuff. Colbert is just on fire these days.

Just happened to watch last night.  Funny stuff.  And the Education Secretary ("All that education and she's still only a secretary.") got a little too excited at the thought of "federally mandated spankings."  Naughty girl.

Considered creating a "Peeple R Dum" thread for this, but decided this one would do.

That's why I limit my association with St. Louis to rooting for the Cardinals.  Going back there is too weird for me now.

My association with St. Louis is limited to one airport stopover, Christmas Eve 1999.  I was coked out from a late-night party the night before and was struggling to keep my shit together en route to Pittsburgh (please note: I'm not advocating this), and was freaked out by the dual shrines to the Pope and Mark McGwire that dominated the St. Louis airport.  I don't wish to go back.

A work colleague shared this gem with me.  Not actually pornographic, but all the same perhaps not safe for work unless you feel like explaining.

When I was at the game on Sunday I saw someone wearing a Cardinals cap that at first looked like a hammer and sickle.  Big C, baseball bat, etc.  I can't find it online, but maybe you have one!

Musta been something else.  There's never been a big C on a Cardinals cap.  It's always been either the letters S-T-L intertwined, or the logo of the bird perched on the bat.

Likely a 'non-authorized' piece of memorabilia.  Lot's of one-off Raider caps out there...

Perhaps you've heard that Jack White and Alicia Keys will be doing the theme to the new Bond film, Quantum of Solace. Well, Brit comedian Joe Cornish has another proposal -- very funny and not unlike Flight of The Conchords' Bowie impressions:
