Favorite 80s band?  Have you made nachos while on ecstasy?

Line of the day, tweeted by Bill Maher:

"Kim Kardashian is upset with the Casey Anthony verdict? Her father defended O.J.! Starting the Kardashian tradition of getting black men off..."

Hipsters don't like being called hipsters? Perhaps they'd prefer "douchebags", then?

Another classic from the Onion...

Horrible Band Obviously Not Listening To Its Influences

July 17, 2002

SAN DIEGO— Puddle Of Mudd, a dreary nü-metal rock band that cites Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Metallica as influences, is obviously not listening to those influences. "Zep, Sabbath, Metallica, Maiden, Aerosmith—growing up, that's what we listened to, and that's what shaped our sound," said lead singer Wes Scantlin, whose mopey, monotone vocals in no way bear the stamp of Robert Plant, Steven Tyler, or his other idols. Scantlin, who made the comments during an interview Monday with Spin reporter Charles Aaron, failed to say which part of Puddle Of Mudd's atrocious new ballad "Drift & Die" resembles "When The Levee Breaks" or "Sweet Emotion."

Colbert Quote-of-the-Week:

"Christianity is the best way to cure gayness. Just get on your knees, take a swig of wine and accept the body of a man into your mouth."

Hey, can I ask you guys a favor? I recently switched from DSL to Cable Internet, and am losing my included webhosting where I've been keeping a cache of old KPIG clips (fake commercials and such).

I moved the clips to a new server, but it may take a while for Google to pick up on the change. I've put in a link to redirect people, but I think if a few people click on it from the results Google might pick it up faster.  So, here's the Google Search for [kpig clips]:  http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=kpig+clips

Just click on the top result and you'll be taken to the new site. "Queen Latifah and a White Guy" is pretty funny.

Great stuff -- the "Gargantua Mall" series of spots is just genius. I don't see "Sugar Boogers" on the list, tho'.
