could not remember where Gaz suggested that the clip of the quran-snatching guy should be autotuned, but, well, it has been:

Today's Don Assmussen "Bad Reporter" cartoon in the Chron spoofs the Clarence Thomas flap (his wife recently asked Anita Hill for an "apology"). The cartoon headline is LONG DONG SILVER DEMANDS APOLOGY FROM CLARENCE THOMAS -- LOL! -- but in the print edition the word "DONG" is censored (!) and the cartoon is not on the SFGate website yet. WTF?

ETA: it's there now -- but it's still censored. Seriously, Chron, are we all 5 years old?

More fun from the folks at HuffPo:

ROTFL!  That was a great start to my day! "Bottom to the Top" is my fave (and the link to "unintentionally gay rap albums" is worth a click: http://therapup.net/2009/11/9-unintentionally-gay-rap-album-covers.html ).

Someone on the radio-info.com NY message board just made a post that referenced "ATLANTIS Morrissette" -- apparently seriously, not ironically. Malapropism of the Week!

Did her career really sink that far?

OMGWTFLOL-of-the-Month (if not the Year): this clip of an endless parade of mostly-washed-up celebs and semi-celebs (some known only in Europe, but most you'll recognize) lip-synching "Let It Be" as a promo for a Norwegian TV series (!)  Watch it before reading the list of names, it's kinda fun to be gobsmacked repeatedly at who's here and how bad some of 'em look.

The world's oldest cat is the same age as me.  I wonder if she belonged to the Culture Club fan club back in '83 too...
