BOS3 Big Audio Dynamite.  Ushered at the Warfield back then and got to hear their soundcheck.  Sweet memory.
This is NTM, but I'm afraid I don't like it.  I wanna like it, but it isn't happening.

I could never get into it either.

BOS2 Siouxie -- this was '91? I'd've guessed earlier. It's all a haze...

I knew it when I heard enough of Robin Williams to ID him. That's a creepy movie.

Big BOS for Richard Thompson!  Have we ever heard him on 10at10?

I cannot recall, but BOS from me, too.  I saw him at Hardly Strictly a few years back, just him and his guitar, and he brought me to tears, literally.

Fans should experience his CD/DVD of "1000 years of popular music" >> http://www.richardthompson-music.com/1000yrs.asp

He was indeed amazing at HSB.  But oof, this version sounds so overproduced (well, it was the 90s, after all) compared to the acoustic version that was on KFOG Live From the Archives #2 (which I had a copy of *somewhere*, I think).

Hey, have you noticed KFOG's new "Now Playing" app actually can recognize 10@10 songs?  Instead of being tied into their system (which is missing many of the songs Annalisa plays), I think it must use recognition software to match up and list songs.  Kind of cool:

or possibly there's an override option and AL types info as she plays?

This set had Clarence Thomas and Lenny Kravitz and it still needed more black people!

Nah, this is a new service that has been picking up all kinds of songs that the other playlists don't show -- I'm pretty sure they tap into the station's audio feed and run the commercial equivalent of Shazam or SoundHound and then link it up to iTunes/Amazon/YouTube.  They also have an interesting Facebook integration where you can add songs to your Playlist which can get published to your Facebook Wall ("Darryl just created a playlist: KFOG New"...)

Kind of handy for tagging new/weird/songs that you hear.
