Yeah, I'm gonna BOS Bonnie -- at least it's not "Nick Of Time"

wow, I never thought I'd see the day when a Bonnie Raitt song was a welcome turn of events in a 10 at 10 set!

I'll BOnnieS this, too

one of my pet peeves is when people use a chimp (in advertising, in movies, etc) and call it a "monkey."

This has nothing to do with the Pixies... they know what a monkey is, for reals.

Hah, I thought this was Mark Knofler

I thought it was Robbie Robertson.

Robbie Robertson doing a dime store impression of Leonard Cohen.

Not a bad song, but it's not especially noticeable to me. No surprises so far in this set. Surprisingly dull.

You be me, and I'll be the 6th or 7th Katrina in this set. Yeah, I'm in full crankypants mode now, bitches. "bored right outta mah skull" sums it up, Mr 'Mats.

Not being either a huge Pixies or Replacements fan (guess I came late to the parties), this is the most known (and probably the most accessible) 'Mats song out to me.  I imagine hardcore 'Mats fans think of this song like Pixies fans think of Here Comes Your Man, overplayed and not representative.

But I likes it!

Yay, Punk Rawk Girl -- fun stuff... this kind of rare-ish song is why I listen to 10@10, not EC Veronica.

where are they from?  singer's accent sounds mid-Atlantic, like Baltimore.

ETA: heh, looked it up: They're from Philly!

Rochester had a club called the Carpe Diem. Some locals pronounced it "car-PAY-dium" ... teehee!

mostly crap-ish set.
