yeesh: Floyd past their sell-by date; Live selling drama.

Heard this; was a generally pleasant listen, with BOS to New Order for bringing me directly back to memories of college parties.  WOS to the overrated Hole.

I don't remember the New Order being re-released in '94 -- was Rob thinking of the Frente cover?

It was a remix/re-release.  Frente came along in '95 or '96, I think.

Tue 4/19/11: 1973

A pretty ho-hum set, considering what I remember being on the radio in April of this year.  Floyd, Dr John, Stealer's Wheel, Bowie, Dobie Gray, Focus. The only semi-obscurity was Argent's "God Gave R'n'R To You"

yeesh, Rob manages to hit all the Katrinas (including the original) that AL avoided yesterday: Simple Minds, TFF ("EWTRTW"), "Centerfield", The Firm, TP, and Ms Leskanich and her Waves.

BOSes Broooce, "Trapped" & Mick, "Lucky in Love"

no earth day set here. Just INXS, the Fixx, Prince, Bowie-as-Elmer-Fudd and -- what does he say? -- Wall o'Voodoo.

If he has salt in his tears, shouldn't his name be Martin Briney?

I never really "got" Tony Carey, but VHMFRA "I Won't Be Home Tonight".

"Good HEAVENS, Miss Sakamoto -- you're a Katrina!"

And speaking of: AAAAACK! Tubes, "She's a, well, you know"
