BOS Fever Tree.

WOS this Michael Franti.  More annoying than Lights, than Train, than Eric's burden.

Rice-A-Roni -- the sodium-saturated treat!

AAAAAAAAAACK! Train! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I was going to post something like
Quote
I've avoided learning who this is, sounds kind of Train-ish
and Mike has proactively educated me!

The first dozen times I heard it, it was such a reflief that it wasn't "Hey 'Ho Blistah" that I kinda overpraised it as a decent Stones cop. But as gaz pointed out: "Tenderloin/Tender coin" is just cringeworthy.

to be fair, the end of this live Franti thing makes more sense than the rest of the song for the theme.

But how many times did he say "hey mama"? 23? My head nearly exploded there.

BOS, Otis on the Dock of the Bay.  Concentrating on the instumentation this time through.  There's subtle flair deep in there.

our band plays this song, and it's not trivial at all!  The bass line at the beginning is smooth, but not easy to play.

HA! I avoided both getting Speared and the Train-wreck. I totally called this one as headed downhill. To me, this was WSOAT (Worst Set of All Time). When I think San Francisco, I think Dead Kennedies and not Train. Not taking any chances on this set, it was all cheeze.

Looking forward to 1990, 84, and 74 replays tomorrow.

I missed the set, and it doesn't appear I should be regretful.

However, I don't think it's as bad as some of the Ka-Boom! (haven't heard anything about that this year by the way) or the Live From The Archives sets. At least today they weren't pimping anything.

The songs of the Ka-Boom set actually weren't bad, it was just doomed by principle.  Anyway, Ka-Boom is having "technical difficulties" & they're looking at pushing it back to September, if it even happens this year. :(  The Piers aren't safe anymore (although they're trying to fix that, may not be 'til next year though) and last year's was not well attended enough to have it at Candlestick again.

Hadn't even thought about Kaboom, but you're right. They'd be hyping it by now if it were happening in mid-May.

Let's get right to it.
