only 28 after the hour, that was a mighty short set.

in '67 the drugs hadn't yet kicked in sufficiently to facilitate 9-minute LP cuts.

yikes, these people who NEVER listen to KFOG outside of 10@10...
moot point, they didn't use my call.

How many different kinds of drugs do you think they took before Cream wrote those lyrics.

I think there's only on kind involved here, hallucinogens.  I was just thinking how this record sort of epitomizes a certain aspect of the psychelic era.  The Album cover, the colorful lyrics.

What year did Aftemath come out?  We certainly had some long tracks played on KMPX out here.

Unless you were Love and thought "Da Capo" was a good idea.

He's the flamingly gay "etiquette" columnist (think: Miss Manners) for SF Weekly. They have him on the Morning show once a month. So if you wanna know how to address those thank-you notes, he's your guy.

Best part is they play the "Charles in Charge" theme when he's there.

Re: Creem:

Are "tiny purple fishes" and "tales of brave Ulysses" supposed to be off-rhymes of each other, or was that a coincidence?

It's spelled Cream!

Nothing is coincidence in the big continuum!
Quote
And you see a girl's brown body dancing through the turquoise,
And her footprints make you follow where the sky loves the sea.
And when your fingers find her, she drowns you in her body,
Carving deep blue ripples in the tissues of your mind.

Yum!

I know that.  I figured it was just a freudian slip!
