One of my fave years!!

And thankfully not what someone called in to suggest during the morning show: an all-Canadian 10@10. She mentiomed the usual suspects (Neil, Joni, Rush, Barenaked Ladies, Sarah McLachlan, a few others) but didn't think of Triumph or the Tragically Hip. Bummer. ;)

Oh, I dunno- Getty Lee sang a killer version of "Take Off (To the Great White North)" for a McKenzie Brothers comedy bit that used to get played on Dr Demento & stuff....

This morning when people were calling in trying to name canadian rockers, no one mentioned NEIL. I called Dave and said what about Neil, he sounded like "d'oh", forgot about him. Then he played me some Cinnamon Girl.
