RIP Don Kirshner, 76

Don Kirshner passed away on Monday.  I've enjoyed seeing bits and pieces of his Rock Concert Show over the years.  Rest in peace.

right! it was Paul-as-Kirshner that introduced (inflicted?) the Blues Brothers to the world back on SNL in 1977:

Speaking of Kirshner, he had managed the stable of Brill Bldg songwriters, which included supplying songs for the Monkees, who might tour this summer:
