heh, despite the sass JT gets around here at times (incl from me, too), how can you not like Fire And Rain?  Despite it being played on every single soft rock and oldies station in existence, I never get tired of hearing it.

Another one I can add to my "Songs that might make me cry despite their sappiness" list.

Oh, cute: from Cat's enviro anthem to Nader on the burning Cuyahoga ... to "Fire & Rain."  Heh.
and the enviro theme continues with Joni "Big Yellow Taxi"

nice Led Zep song, don't hear this one too often.  Seems Jimmy Page ripped off himself and the Yardbirds with the opening descending guitar riff, which sounds a LOT like the opening to Shapes.

Paranoid's incessant numbing guitar and vocals.
... the birth of headbanging?

BOS2 to the Marmalade's Badfingeresque weepie "Reflections of My Life."  It was Dave Morey who introduced me to this - and to the band - way back in '96 or '97.
Yah, Badfingeresque, though I was thinking it was Holliesesque, especially in the harmony.  Nice tune.

I always considered it BeeGeesesque  ;)  Tho' not as much as TinTin's "Toast and (TANC) Marmalade"

You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

This was NTM and I thought it was amazing.  Loved the soulful harmonies.  Sounded Holliesesque to me too.
